4.7 M66.13: Revised K-Source Representative Glyphs (IRG N2916)
Current Status: The K-source representative glyph change of U+2DB7C, along with its kRSUnicode property value change, was recommended by the UTC’s CJK & Unihan Working Group for Unicode Version 18.0, and were subsequently accepted by the UTC during UTC Meeting #187. ROK submitted to WG 2 a TrueType font with the updated K-source representative glyph for U+2DB7C on 2026-04-22. These changes appear in the Unicode Version 18.0 Beta review that began on 2026-05-26. WG 2 recommended adding a new normative kIRG_SGSource property, which SC 2 accepted for ISO/IEC 10646 Seventh Edition, Amendment 1 on 2026-06-26 via SC 2 Resolution M 31-05 in document SC 2 N5056, and which will be targeted for Unicode Version 19.0 (2027).
4.11 M66.17: CJKV Components Blocks (IRG N2878R3)
Current Status: The IRG Convenor prepared the “Proposal Summary Form,” appended it to document IRG N2878R3 on 2026-03-20, and submitted it to WG 2 on 2026-03-22 for consideration during WG 2 Meeting #73, which was posted as document WG 2 N5358. WG 2 recommended accepting the two new blocks, which SC 2 accepted for ISO/IEC 10646 Seventh Edition, Amendment 1 on 2026-06-26 via SC 2 Resolution M 31-05 in document SC 2 N5056, and which will be targeted for Unicode Version 19.0 (2027).
